The aircraft

Before the Learjet, business flying meant converted airliners and propeller twins. Bill Lear built something else entirely: a small, extremely fast jet with fighter derived aerodynamics that could outclimb most airliners. The name became the generic term for a private jet, which is a rare thing for any product.

The N805NA registration is the interesting part. The NA suffix marks it as a NASA aircraft. Aircraft in that block were used as research and chase platforms, flying alongside test articles to observe, photograph and gather data.

So this airframe was not moving executives. It was working for a space agency.

Choosing the Partial option

On a Partial tag the paint break falls off centre, so the split between colours sits in a different place on every single piece. The colours named in the option are indicative only. The exact position, proportion and shape of the break on the tag you receive will differ from the photograph, and no two are alike.
