Title

A genuine PlaneTag with an off centre paint break. Cut from the fuselage of Boeing 767-300ER registration JA98AD and sold as a Partial Tag because the colour split falls outside the standard release specification. Same aircraft, same metal, different cut.

Every Partial Tag carries its paint break in a different place, so no two are alike. The one you receive will not exist again.

The aircraft

JA98AD was Air Do's first Boeing 767 and spent its entire twenty two year working life with the airline, covering roughly the equivalent of a thousand laps of the planet.

Air Do began in 1996 as Hokkaido International Airlines, formed to link the prefecture with the rest of Japan just as domestic fare deregulation opened the market. It earned the nickname Wings of Hokkaido, later became a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways, and today runs around thirty return services across ten routes.

Choosing the Partial option

The colours named in the option are indicative only. The exact position, proportion and shape of the paint break on the tag you receive will differ from the photograph. That is the nature of the product, not a fault.

What you receive

  • One Partial Tag cut from the actual fuselage of JA98AD
  • Attached metal ring, strong enough for keys or luggage
  • Mounted on its display card

Please read before ordering

PlaneTags are cut from real aircraft skin, not stamped from new metal. Each one carries the paint, thickness and wear of the exact section it came from. Marks and variation are the point, not a fault. Colour cannot be selected and the photographs are a guide only.

Not suitable for children under eight. Contains aircraft paint. Keep out of mouths.

Shipped from Australia.
