A rare two colour Partial tag from a Boeing 747-200. Cut and laser etched from the skin of N761SA, a 747 that spent nineteen years carrying passengers before a second career hauling freight.

The aircraft

Built in 1979 for Philippine Airlines, N761SA flew their routes for over nineteen years before being converted to a freighter and going on to fly for Atlas Air and Southern Air. Few airframes get two full working lives. This one did.

Choosing the Partial option

On a Partial tag the paint break falls off centre, so the split between colours sits in a different place on every single piece. The colours named in the option are indicative only. The exact position, proportion and shape of the break on the tag you receive will differ from the photograph, and no two are alike. Only a small number of two colour tags exist from this aircraft, in grey and black or black and white, and which combination you receive is random because there are too few of each to offer a choice.

What you receive

  • One PlaneTag cut from the actual fuselage of N761SA
  • Laser etched with the aircraft type and registration
  • Numbered as part of a limited edition, on its display card
  • Durable metal ring for keys, luggage or display

Please read before ordering

PlaneTags are cut from real aircraft skin, not stamped from new metal. Each carries the paint, thickness and wear of the exact section it came from. Variation is the point, not a fault. Colour cannot be selected and photographs are a guide only.

Not suitable for children under eight. Contains aircraft paint. Keep out of mouths.

Shipped from Australia.
